What is AlcudiaPollensa?

This is the second AlcúdiaPollensa blog. It is basically a “mirror” of the original on blogspot and acts as a sort of back-up. I may decide to do something rather different with this at some stage. 

As with the original blog, the contents here are largely in response to the general poverty of writing about things Mallorca, and in particular the northern zone. When I say “poverty”, this is not to say that writing does not exist – it does – just that so much of it is bland. The established media in Mallorca is weak in this regard, displaying little actual comment or opinion about what’s going on and with a bias towards the south of the island.
